President-elect Donald Trump has announced that his new administration plans to secure US borders and restore sovereignty, by prioritizing education and putting America first.
According to him, the immigration policies adopted by Joe Biden’s administration have been a magnet for Illegal aliens and will be aborted.
Speaking to the press, the President-elect blamed Joe Biden’s administration for encouraging more illegal immigration and attracting dangerous individuals from other countries.
Trump complained about the current policy, which he says is based on a historical myth and misinterpretation of the law.
“The United States is among the only countries in the world that says that even if neither parent is a citizen nor even lawfully in the country, children are automatic citizens the moment the parents trespass unto our soil,” he said
“Can you imagine? They’ll be eligible for welfare, taxpayer-funded healthcare, the range of vote, chain, migration and countless other government benefits. Many of which will also profit illegal alien parents,” he added.
New Executive Order on Immigration
As part of his administration’s effort to address illegal immigration and encourage undocumented individuals to return to their home countries, Donald Trump announced that he would issue an executive order to deny automatic US citizenship to children of undocumented immigrants.
“I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that under the correct interpretation of the law, going forward, the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic US citizenship,” he said.
The incoming president added that he will also push for an end to birth tourism, where foreign nationals come to the US to give birth to obtain citizenship for their children.
“At least one parent will have to be a citizen or a legal resident in order to qualify.”
He concluded, “We will secure our borders and restore our sovereignty. Starting on day 1, our country will be great again, and we’ll have borders. We’ll have proper education, and we’ll put America first.”
