Manchester City boss Erling Haaland has shared his opinion on the comparison between Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi.
Haaland has earned comparisons with the Paris Saint-Germain star after hitting the ground running since joining City in the summer.
The youngster has not wasted time settling in since his arrival, having already netted 14 times in the Premier League.
From the 14 goals, the Norwegian hotshot has netted three hat-tricks, with the latest coming against Man United on Sunday, October 2, at the Etihad Stadium.
His impressive performance against United saw him become the 14th player to earn a 10/10 rating from respected French publication L’Equipe.

His scintillating form has many believing he has all it takes to hit the Lionel Messi peak in the future.
However, Guardiola, who has had the honour to manage the two football stars, contends there is a clear difference between the duo.
When asked if he had the same feeling about Haaland as he did about Messi, the experienced tactician said:
“The difference is Erling needs maybe all his mates, you know to do it, but when he arrives… unbelievable,” Guardiola told beIN Sports via GiveMeSports.
“Messi had ability for himself to do it,” he added.
